The Foxes have won a lot since King Power and the Srivaddhanaprabha family became the owners of Leicester City in 2010. Even though they took over while the Foxes were a mid-table Championship club.

Leicester City won automatic promotion from the Championship in 2014 and also lifted the title that term. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha then invested a further £180m into the club to take them to the next level, per LeicestershireLive. The ownership had dreams of the club competing in Europe and against the best in the country.

Lots of football fans laughed at these aims, so no one expected Leicester to win the Premier League title, which they managed in 2015/16. It was a remarkable achievement and to do it only two years after their promotion was an amazing story.

Since then, Leicester City have also managed to win the FA Cup once and the Community Shield once. The Foxes also won the 2023/24 Championship title during their only season back in the second-tier following relegation from the Premier League in 2022/23.

What is the net worth of the Srivaddhanaprabha family?

Leicester City owner Atiyawatt Srivaddhanaprbha held a net worth of around £2.87b in July 2023, per BangkokPost. He is also the CEO and chief commercial officer of King Power. But he shares his fortune with his mother (who is the chairman of King Power) and three siblings.

King Power is a large reason for the wealth of the Srivaddhanaprabha family as it is Thailand’s leading operator of airport duty-free stores. The family is also worth this huge amount due to the fact that they own a big part of MahaNakhon alongside King Power and Leicester. The MahaNakhon is a development project in Bangkok which features one of the biggest skyscrapers in Thailand.
