Gary Lineker jokingly threatened Match of the Day pundit Joe Hart with the sack for his views on two controversial moments in Leicester City’s draw against Ipswich Town.
Jordan Ayew continued his reign as the club’s super sub with an equaliser in the fourth minute of stoppage time to deny the hosts a first Premier League win of the season.
Kalvin Phillips was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Ricardo Pereira moments after Ipswich felt they should’ve had a penalty after Abdul Fatawu barged Conor Chaplin in the box but Tim Robinson waved any shouts away to the anger of the home fans.

MOTD pundits sympathise with Ipswich boss over controversial decisions in Leicester draw
Kieran McKenna cut an angry figure at full-time and claimed that the decision not to give his side a penalty, followed by a soft second yellow card, changed the momentum, of the game and cost them a win.
MOTD pundits Hart and Micah Richards were also in agreement with McKenna over the two decisions.
Talking through the penalty shout, Hart said: “I feel like [Ipswich boss] Kieran McKenna has every right to feel aggrieved. I just feel like Fatawu has flown out there, and there’s no doubt there’s contact. It’s just I was interested to see on the replay whether Chaplin manages to just get that little touch, but he just manages to get away and so that’s a penalty for me.”
On the red card, Richards added: “I think Phillips is unlucky. I know he does leave his leg out, but he’s pulling it away at the same time.”

Gary Lineker threatens Joe Hart with sack on MOTD
Lineker may have to put his bias aside when working on MOTD but the Foxes legend couldn’t resist a joke jab at Hart after his analysis of the game.
Shortly after Hart claimed Leicester were lucky to get away with the decisions, the presenter asked “You want to work on Match of the Day again, Joe?”
The England international did go on to add that he did agree with Hart and Richards’ observation – despite the fact the decisions benefitted his beloved club.
The draw leaves the Foxes five points clear of the bottom three after 10 games played.
