Premier League fans love what Leicester City supporters did to troll Arsenal during 2-0 defeat

Leicester City were looking to cause a major upset when they faced Arsenal in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off.

Leicester City have been on a dire run of form in the top flight recently, losing eight of their last nine league matches.

This saw the Foxes going into the latest round of Premier League fixtures two points from safety.

However, with Wolverhampton Wanderers taking on table-topping Liverpool on Sunday, it was a good chance for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side to climb out of the bottom three.

Arsenal were predicted to beat Leicester but even though the Gunners were second in the division, fans may have believed an upset was possible given how many key players Mikel Arteta was without.

Premier League fans loved how Leicester City supporters trolled Arsenal

It was an interesting opening half from both teams, with the majority of the action coming from the crowd.

Leicester fans chanted for Jon Rudkin out in the 14th minute, as was planned ahead of the tie.

But Foxes supporters also took the opportunity to troll Arsenal, who sit second in the Premier League currently, by chanting ‘second again’ midway through the first 45.

And rival fans have now taken to social media to react to said chant and it’s fair to say they loved it.

One fan wrote: “I love Leicester fans. ‘Second again’ is crazy.”

A second added, followed by six laughing emojis: “Leicester City fans chanting ‘second again ole ole’ to the Arsenal fans.”

“SECOND AGAIN, SECOND AGAIN SECOND AGAIN OLE OLE,” another wrote.

Another questioned, followed by a laughing emoji: “They’re getting relegated and they’re singing second again?”

A fourth fan added: “Leicester fans mocking it now,” while another stated: “Second again chants, haha.”

A sixth chanted: “SECOND AGAIN OLE OLE,” and a seventh responded: “Too funny from them.”

Leicester City fans message to owner was clear

Leicester may have taken time out of the game to troll the Gunners for likely not winning the Premier League title again.

But their main message coming out of the match was a clear one to their owner, who now risks losing favour unless he gets rid of Rudkin.

‘Top’ sent a message to Leicester fans pre-match but it was ignored in favour of the protest, which took place before and during the match.
