Leicester City have endured a blip of late in the Championship, having dropped points in four of their last five games.
It’s been a challenging period for the club both on and off the pitch, with a PSR charge and a player registration embargo looming over them.
The Foxes dropped into second just before the international break, with Leeds United moving to the summit.
They have a game in hand on the West Yorkshire outfit and must take full advantage of that as we head into the final stages of the season.
Enzo Maresca‘s side resume action at Friday lunchtime, as they make the trip to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City.
Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has made his prediction.
David Prutton makes Bristol City vs Leicester City prediction

In his latest round of predictions, Prutton has previewed Leicester’s clash at Bristol City and doesn’t seem to be totally convinced about the visitors.
“Bristol City are trundling along and unlikely at this point to really impact either end of the table,” the 42-year-old said.
“So let’s talk about Leicester City. How have they found themselves second in the table?
“They are still somewhat in pole position and favourite to get promoted, but it really ought not to be this close. The nerves will be kicking in while Ipswich and Leeds will be full of confidence. They need to kick off Good Friday with a win, and I think they just about should.”
Prutton has predicted a 2-1 away win for Leicester, which would move them back to the top of the Championship table, as Leeds don’t play until the evening.
Leicester City to return to winning ways
Maresca will be hopeful a win at Ashton Gate can kickstart the momentum, with two home games at the King Power Stadium to follow.
Former Foxes winger Matt Piper made a bold claim earlier this week and said he believes City can win the next nine fixtures.
It’s certainly a tall order but one Leicester are more than capable of achieving, having already proved it earlier in the season.
The City boss needs to find that winning formula again and perhaps that could mean a slight tweak to the personnel.
Callum Doyle has made 13 appearances this season and 12 of those resulted in victories for the East Midlanders, so it’s clear just how big of an impact he makes on the side.
The Manchester City loanee has endured a lengthy period on the sidelines due to a knee injury and upon his return, he’s struggled to regain his place in the starting line-up.
Perhaps Maresca should consider putting him back in on Friday.
