Several former Leicester City players were in Champions League action on Tuesday evening.
Leicester City previously enjoyed a brief stint in the Championship League in 2016/17 following their title-winning campaign the season prior.
Their recent FA Cup triumph earned them a place in the Europa League as well but they have now been out of Europe for several seasons.
However, while the Foxes are currently in the midst of a relegation battle and are almost certainly going to be back in the Championship come 2025/26, a number of players have thrived since leaving the King Power Stadium.
One of those was in action in the Champions League for Atalanta on Tuesday evening but things did not go great for the former Fox.

Ademola Lookman slammed by Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini after penalty miss
Ademola Lookman was loaned to Leicester from German outfit RB Leipzig during the 2021/22 season.
He had an excellent spell in the Midlands, scoring eight goals and providing five assists.
After his loan spell in England came to a close, Leipzig opted to sell Lookman to Atalanta
The Serie A side were in Championship League knockout action on February 18th, looking to overturn a 2-1 deficit against Club Brugge.
However, they lost the tie 3-1 and after exiting the competition, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini blasted Lookman, as per ESPN, for his penalty miss, which stopped a potential comeback before it got started.
He said: “Lookman was not supposed to take that penalty, he is one of the worst penalty takers I’ve ever seen.
“He has a frankly terrible record even in training, he converts very few of them. Retegui and De Ketelaere were there, but Lookman in a moment of enthusiasm after scoring decided to take the ball and that was a gesture I did not appreciate at all.”

Kasper Schmeichel suffers Champions League heartbreak with Celtic
Lookman was not the only ex-Leicester ace to take to the field in European action on Tuesday.
Kasper Schmeichel and Jeffrey Schlupp both started for Celtic in their meeting with Bayern Munich.
The Scottish powerhouse managed to come away with a 1-1 draw but still lost the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
Celtic fans were blown away by Schmeichel on the night, which Leicester supporters should no doubt love to see.
