Leicester City defender Harry Souttar has given his verdict on his future as his successful loan at Sheffield United continues.
During the summer transfer window, Leicester City manager Steve Cooper decided that Harry Souttar needed a loan spell away from the King Power Stadium.
Wout Faes and Caleb Okoli appear to be the first-choice options under the Leicester manager which has meant the Australian centre-back Souttar was frozen out at the beginning of the season.
Souttar moved to Sheffield United on loan and has excelled for The Blades with fans of the Yorkshire club already demanding that the temporary stay becomes a permanent one.

Harry Souttar provides verdict on Leicester future
It has been a frustrating time in the East Midlands for Souttar but in Sheffield, the Australian defender is being given plenty of chances and has impressed.
“Absolutely,” he said when asked by The Star about his future in Yorkshire. “Absolutely. I’m here until the summer, that’s a guarantee.
“So whatever happens after that is out of my hands a little bit but in terms of my feelings towards the club, it’s given me a lot and the gaffer’s put a lot of trust in me. And I want to repay him for that.
“My focus has just been on Sheffield United. I’m aware that I’m a loan player and that’s my parent club but my focus and communication has all been on this club. What we’re doing on and off the pitch.”
The 26-year-old defender joined Leicester from Stoke City back in January of 2023 but the move has not worked out well for the Australian.
Harry Souttar right to move on from Leicester
Since his move to the Premier League club, Souttar made just four appearances when the Foxes were in the EFL Championship under Enzo Maresca.
New manager Cooper is also not a fan of Souttar and a permanent move to Bramall Lane makes a lot of sense for Souttar.
With Sheffield United currently in the automatic promotion places in England’s second division, a return to the Premier League could be on the cards in the future.
