Leicester City took on Chelsea this afternoon in a huge Premier League match on both ends of the table.
The Foxes remain in the relegation zone with Ruud van Nistelrooy making a big tactical change for Leicester for today’s trip to Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea themselves need a win if they’re to return to a top-four spot.
And at the time of writing, the three points seem to be going Chelsea’s way, with Marc Cucurella’s drive from distance so far the difference-maker despite an impressive performance from Leicester away from the King Power Stadium.
Yet despite the scoreline, Leicester fans will love what Jamie Vardy was spotted doing just before the second-half in west London.

Jamie Vardy spotted drinking a Red Bull before Leicester’s second-half vs Chelsea
As per BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella, the 38-year-old striker was seen drinking a can of Red Bull before taking to the field for Leicester the second-half against Chelsea, who took the lead 15 minutes into the restart.
Vardy’s pre-match routine for Leicester is the stuff of legend, with the former England international known for his love of energy drinks and for drinking as much caffeine as possible ahead of games with the Foxes.
Indeed, the striker’s off-the-field antics have only added to his mythos at the King Power Stadium, with Vardy once trying to buy the iconic car from The Inbetweeners in 2021 having become obsessed with the TV show.
And Vardy’s Red Bull addiction has hardly stopped the attacker from reaching the highest levels in the game, even at the age of 38, where the striker is still considered a key player for Leicester under Van Nistelrooy.
Will Jamie Vardy leave Leicester at the end of this season?
Vardy’s contract with Leicester comes to an end this summer, with Leicester yet to make a decision on what to do with one of their greatest-ever players, regardless of what happens to their Premier League status.
With Vardy keen to remain a Leicester player, all signs currently point towards the veteran striker remaining with the Foxes for another year or two, with the attacker well on course to retire beyond the age of 40.
For now, though, Leicester have more important problems at hands than Vardy’s contract, with Premier League survival the most important thing for the King Power Stadium side heading into the final months of the season.
