It is no secret that Harvey Barnes is a wanted man this summer, but you can now add Manchester United to the list of clubs pursuing a deal for the Leicester City winger.
The Daily Mail states that the Red Devils have now joined the race for Barnes’ signature alongside fellow Premier League sides West Ham United and Newcastle United.
A product of the Foxes’ academy, Barnes has made 187 appearances for Leicester since his first team debut against Porto in the Champions League during the 2016/17 season.
From Champions League to Championship, it now appears inevitable that the 25-year-old has played his last game for the East-Midlands outfit.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hailed the Englishman in 2021, labelling him an ‘unbelievable player’.
In full, Klopp said, “Barnes is probably one of the biggest talents, I am not sure if he is respected or appreciated as much as he should be.
“He is an unbelievable player to be honest, a proper Leicester product.”
It is the Reds’ fierce rivals, however, who are now looking to benefit from the Foxes’ relegation to the second tier.
Would Barnes fit the bill for United?
Newcastle are said to be struggling to meet Barnes’ valuation of £40m, meaning that Erik ten Hag’s side could swoop in for the one time England international.
United’s current options out wide are varied.
Jadon Sancho has failed to live up to expectations since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund two summers ago, whereas the jury is still out on last summer’s big-money signing Antony.
Alejandro Garnacho looks set to be a star and his place seems secure within the Red Devils’ first team frame, with other youngsters Anthony Elanga, Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo all yet to make a serious impact at Old Trafford.
Barnes may have a serious opportunity to excel his career should United strike a deal.
