Goalkeeper Mads Hermansen was left out of the Leicester City squad that beat Burton Albion 2-0 in the Carabao Cup last night.
Boss Enzo Maresca stated after the game that the ‘keeper picked up a “small problem” in training after the Coventry City game.
23-year-old Hermansen has apparently picked up a quad injury just days after his impressive debut on Sunday.
The Danish shot-stopper made five saves on his first appearance and showcased his excellent distribution with 38 completed passes and 63 touches.
His fingertip stop from new Coventry signing Hadji Wright was the pick of the bunch, with the new Foxes ‘keeper stopping what was a certain goal.

What has Maresca said about Mads Hermansen’s injury?
Maresca spoke after the 2-0 victory at Burton on Wednesday night, and said, “Mads, we’ll see in the next days. I don’t know if it’s an injury. He has a small problem. We’ll see.”
The Italian was asked whether Hermansen could be fit to face the Terriers on Saturday, and he replied: “We’ll see.”
If the Dane is unable to play against Neil Warnock’s side this weekend, a league debut could be handed to Jakub Stolarczyk, who made his first start for the club last night.

The Polish ‘keeper had a routine debut with little to do, thanks to a solid display from the Foxes’ backline in front of him.
Should he play on Saturday, it would be a huge jump for the 22-year-old who was plying his trade in League Two for relegated Hartlepool Town last season.
