According to Rob Dorsett, Sean Dyche’s Everton are interested in signing Leicester City striker Patson Daka.
The 24-year-old joined the Foxes in 2021 from Austrian side RB Salzburg for a fee in the region of £23 million.
During his time at the King Power Stadium, the Zambian forward has scored nine times in 53 appearances, most of which came from the bench.
He’s found opportunities hard to come by at Leicester, with club legend Jamie Vardy and experienced Premier League striker Kelechi Iheanacho ahead of him in the pecking order.
Daka was an unused substitute in the Foxes’ opening-day 2-1 victory against Coventry City on Sunday.

Leicester’s striking options
Iheanacho has also been linked with a move away all summer, with Vardy rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia.
36-year-old Vardy is in the final year of his contract, with this season likely to be his last one, ending his 11-year stint at the club.
Despite all the noise around Iheanacho’s future, no move has materialised, and looks set to stay at the King Power for now at least.

With Daka, the Foxes’ have three brilliant striking options for the second tier of English football and must try to keep hold of all three.
However, new boss Enzo Maresca only used one out-and-out centre forward on Sunday afternoon, potentially making minutes for all three hard to come by.
If Daka was to become unhappy with his game time a move could potentially happen, however, the club must do all they can to keep the Zambian international at the King Power.
