Hermansen signed for Leicester City in the summer of 2023, joining for £5m from Brondby.

Hermansen has regularly featured for Denmark at youth level, ranging from Under-16 to Under-19.
He received his first Under-21 call-up in November 2020 but would have to wait until 7 September 2021 to make his debut in a 1-0 win against Kazakhstan.
