Leicester City will be hoping to get their first win on the board at home to Everton.

The Foxes are set to face Everton at the King Power Stadium in a six-pointer in the Premier League.

Whilst Leicester City are yet to get their first win on the board, there have been some slightly impressive performances, including last time out where Steve Cooper’s decisions involving substitutions swayed the game and contributed to the Foxes conceding in the final minute against Crystal Palace.

The game will provide a massive opportunity for Cooper to kickstart Leicester City’s season against an out-of-form Everton side, who are yet to tally a single point in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

Whilst there will unlikely be widespread changes to Cooper’s side, it will be likely that he will tinker with it, which could see some out of form players dropped to the bench.

Leicester City injury news ahead of Everton clash

Patson Daka is set to remain on the sidelines for Leicester City after picking up an ankle injury in the final game of pre-season against RC Lens.

In positive news, Leicester City will be boosted by the introduction o Crystal Palace loanee striker Odsonne Edouard , who will likely be in the squad for the first time since he joined on Deadline Day.

Despite having 100% fitness, he was unable to play against his parent-club Crystal Palace last time out, but it’s likely that the lack of game time for the French forward won’t hamper his chances of getting in the squad.

Leicester City predicted XI vs Everton

Leicester City will most likely continue with Mads Hermansen in-between the sticks for the clash against Everton, whilst there will be no surprises to see Cooper opt for an unchanged defensive, which impressed last time out against Crystal Palace.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfield duo of Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp performed very well against the Eagles, working in clear cohesion and often dictating play, and it would be too much of a risk for Cooper to drop either of the pair for this grudge match against Everton.

There has been plenty of noise surrounding the playing style which involves playing Wilfred Ndidi as an attacking-midfielder, however the Nigerian international got two assists to his name last time out, and will likely remain in the side, as will Jamie Vardy, who scored last time out in the draw.

However, the area where Cooper is likely to make changes is on either flank, with Jordan Ayew looking likely to drop out after a poor performance against his former side.

There will be no surprises to see Stephy Mavididi drop out as well, who despite scoring, was often caught in possession and proved to be somewhat wasteful at times.

It will be unsurprising to see Abdul Fatawu brought in, whilst Bilal El Khannouss could be handed his first start for the club.

Here is how we think Leicester City will line up against Everton…
