Leicester City’s Patson Daka was missing from their squad against Huddersfield Town at the weekend without explanation.
The Zambian striker has not played a minute in league or cup this season with growing speculation of a move away.
Daka has been linked to Everton and AS Roma this window.
Should Leicester sell Patson Daka?
A £30 million signing in 2021, there is a player there.
Raw pace is his key attribute and, while at Salzburg, his finishing was second to none. 54 goals in 82 games playing in Austria.
He has had his moments in the blue of Leicester, scoring four goals in one game against Spartak Moscow, in his first season.
He is also the Foxes’ all-time leading European goal scorer.

This being said, four goals and four assists in 36 games last season was not good enough.
This dropping from 11 goals and four assists in his first season.
Who knows what is happening with the striker at the moment, there must be some reason as to why he isn’t being included in matchday squads.
In the Championship he could be a weapon. Alternating with Jamie Vardy, it could be goals galore at the King Power.
With top division sides enquiring about the Zambian, it could be a matter of time before he leaves.
A loan deal away from the club could be beneficial for all parties. Allowing Daka to rediscover some form and if City get promoted he will be fit and firing for the Premier League.
A sale, in order to facilitate the addition of more quality into the squad could be useful. If he isn’t going to be included in matchday squads he may as well be let go.
What has Enzo Maresca said?
Maresca believes everything is open with transfers: “Until it’s closed, many things can happen. In our case, for sure our squad is not close, it’s not finished.
“Players have left, and there’s five new players. It’s a work in progress.”
The Italian hasn’t made it clear what the situation is with Daka, but at the moment it feels like he is on the way out.
