The transfer window may be closed for now but that hasn’t stopped Leicester City from looking at potential targets ahead of January.
Steve Cooper made nine signings in the summer window as the Foxes do their best to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
Leicester have won one Premier League game so far, beating Bournemouth thanks to Facundo Buonanotte’s excellent first-half goal and sit 15th in the Premier League table.
But with conceding goals still a problem, Cooper is looking at defensive reinforcements and according to the Daily Mirror, have targeted Steaua Bucharest centre-back Joyskim Dawa.
So, with that, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about Leicester City’s latest transfer target.

Joyskim Dawa age, height, place of birth, nationality
Joyskim Dawa was born on 9 April 1996 in Colombes, France, and at the time of writing is 28.
Dawa is a Cameroon international and has represented the African nation on nine occasions.
He is also on the taller side of things, standing at 1.92m, which equates to six feet and four inches.
What position does Joyskim Dawa play in?
Dawa is traditionally used as a centre-back and has played 18 times for Steaua Bucharest in all competitions this season.
He can also be used as a right-back but in 17 of his 18 games has been used in his favoured role.
Should he join Leicester, he would be faced with plenty of competition in the centre-back role.
There are currently four first-team options available at the King Power Stadium and it would appear that Dawa would likely come in as a rotation option.

Joyskim Dawa transfer value, salary, and contract
Dawa is reportedly valued at £4m due to a release clause in his contract, which has also interested Premier League rivals Everton and Fulham, as well as Championship side Leeds United.
There is currently no information available regarding the 28-year-old’s wage and length of contract.
Joyskim Dawa style of play
Dawa has been described as a late bloomer ever since securing his move to Steaua in 2022.
Before that, the defender had plied his trade in Ukraine and Latvia before heading to Romania in 2021.
Dawa is right-footed and given his height, is a dangerous weapon from set pieces when attacking, but also a reliable outlet when defending them.
Blessed with pace, the Cameroon international thrives off chasing back to commit to a last-ditch tackle, never failing to retrieve the ball back or stop the opposition in their tracks.
He would compliment Jannik Vestergaard in a centre-back pairing due to the Denmark international’s lack of pace but equally be just as efficient next to Caleb Okoli or Wout Faes.
