Inter Milan are interested in Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumare, should a deal for Tanguy Ndombele fall through.
The Italian side are looking to bolster their midfield with the signing of looking likely Maxime Lopez.
Their next priority is to sign Spurs man Ndombele, he spent last season on loan at Napoli but that hasn’t improved his first team chances in London.
It has been reported that Soumare will be the next option if the former Lyon man doesn’t sign.
Should Leicester City sell Boubakary Soumare?
The Frenchman is yet to make a matchday squad so far this season under Enzo Maresca which points towards a move away.
He signed for the Foxes in 2021 for a fee in the region of £20 million.
Signed from Lille, he has gone onto make 59 appearances for Leicester and is yet to score a goal for the club.
As a defensive midfielder, he has been a solid player at times at the King Power.

Despite this, with the pedigree and hype that he came with, more was expected of the former Paris Saint Germain youth player.
Leicester, under Maresca, have done well without him.
A 100% record in league and cup has seen the Italian make the perfect start.
Since Soumare hasn’t featured this season, if he is to be sold for a reasonable fee it makes sense for all parties.
On the other hand, a loan away from the club could be more benefical.
A year in a top division like Serie A, then he can return to the King Power to contribute to the squad if they gain promotion to the Premier League.
Either way, it is very unlikely that Soumare will be a Leicester player past the transfer deadline.
