Leicester City are looking to sign West Bromwich Albion youngster, Tom Fellows as his contract expires in the coming summer.

This season has been overly positive for Leicester City and has been benefitted from the use of youthful players alongside experience.

So far this season, Enzo Maresca’s side have only fallen to three defeats with the latest coming this weekend against Middlesbrough.

With that being said, young stars such as Kasey McAteer, Wanya Marcal and Abdul Fatawu have played their part.

Now with the January transfer window coming up, Leicester look to be interested in more youthful talent.

Who is Tom Fellows?

Fellows has been with the Baggies since he joined their under-10s side and has risen up through their youth set-up.

He made his first appearances for the Albion first team over the 2021/22 season and has since gone out on loan.

Last season he joined Crawley Town on a temporary basis and went on to make 40 appearances for the League Two outfit.

After his return, he has gone on to feature in 74 minutes so far this campaign but is yet to score a senior goal.

Despite this, he is still seeing plenty of hype around securing his signature.

Should Leicester City sign him?

With his contract running down, the rumours linking him away from the West Midlands can’t come as a surprise.

It has been reported, by The Mirror, that the Baggies are set to be taken over and as a result contract negotiations are difficult. But with that being said they are still keen to tie him down to a long-term deal.

There is no doubt that Fellows is a top young talent and would be an excellent signing for the Foxes to make.

With the future of the club in mind and a cheap deal on the cards, it is a no-brainer.
