With the January transfer window fast approaching, more and more names are being linked with Leicester City.
Leicester City are likely to end 2024 sat in the relegation zone after falling into the bottom three earlier this week.
The Foxes do have one more game to play this year but with it coming against Manchester City, it’s more than likely they will remain 18th as we move into January.
But the upcoming transfer window should provide the Midlands outfit with plenty of chances to improve their squad and put up a proper fight in the relegation scrap for the remainder of this year.
A whole host of names have already been linked, with Leicester one of the clubs targeting Valentin Gomez.
A new centre-back does seem to be a priority for Ruud van Nistelrooy, which makes sense given his side have already shipped 40 goals in the league this term.
However, a midfielder Jose Mourinho tried to sign over the summer could now be on his way to the King Power Stadium in 2025.

Leicester City an option for Cristian Medina
The player in question is current Boca Juniors star Cristian Median, who received transfer interest from Europe during the most recent summer window.
Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce wanted to sign the 22-year-old in August, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that a deal was almost complete.
However, that move didn’t come to pass and he’s instead set to link up with Argentine outfit Estudiantes LP from January 1st.
But journalist Uriel Jugt is now reporting that Medina will play for Estudiantes for at least six months before moving to Europe, with Jugt naming Leicester as an ‘option’ for the player.
What Leicester City fans could expect from Cristian Medina
Medina is a natural central midfielder who has already played 160 times for Boca Juniors’ senior team.
In said appearances, he has scored nine goals and provided 11 assists while showcasing his versatility by operating as a number 10 and a right-sided midfielder.
Diego Mazzilli, who scouted Medina previously, has already shared an insight into the type of player Medina is, as per GOAL.
He said: “He had a lot of individual technique, great one-v-one skills, speed, and he dribbled past everyone.
“He was very elegant in his play, and strong too, withstanding kicks from boys who timed their tackles badly when they tried to get the ball from him.”
