Leicester face a battle to keep one of its star players as Italian giants registered interest.

So far this season, Leicester are doing well. The club are outside the relegation zone and will be aiming to push up the table under Steve Cooper.

However, one big hurdle the club faces is the upcoming January transfer window. Many of the Foxes stars may get linked away which could hinder their momentum.

Rumours surrounding the squad have now started to circulate, with Caleb Okoli the latest star to be linked away.

Okoli may have only moved to Leicester City in the summer, but he is already attracting the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world.

The Italian has been one of the Foxes’ star players this season as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Leicester had to beat multiple sides to sign Okoli in the summer and their pursuit has clearly paid off.

However, the Foxes may have a job on their hands if they want the Italian to stay at the King Power Stadium long-term.

According to Il Pallone Gonfiato, Okoli’s performances have caught the attention of Inter manager Simone Inzaghi.

The defender has impressed the Italian side with his physical qualities and his ability to set up the action.

This comes as Inter are looking to potentially reinforce their backline and a move could be made for the Leicester man in the summer.

Over the coming months, it is likely that many of Leicester’s squad will be linked away due to their performances.

However, Cooper must ensure that his team stays focused on the task of securing Premier League survival.

The last thing the Leicester manager needs is players eyeing up moves elsewhere and potentially losing the club points.

Hopefully, the Foxes can get through the upcoming January window without any major losses and instead improve their current side.
