Swansea City striker Joel Piroe is the subject of transfer interest from a number of Championship clubs, including Leicester City, and they have now been told what it would cost to sign him.
The Dutchman is entering the final year of his contract at Swansea, and looks set to leave as promotion-chasing sides aim to add him to their squads.
The 23-year-old scored 20 goals last season, and would be a valuable asset upfront for any side aiming to finish near the top of the Championship.
He could be a great addition for Leicester, and Simon Jones has stated in the Daily Mail that a fee of around £15m would be needed to secure his signature.
Whilst this does feel steep for a Championship forward in the final year of his deal, it could be a purchase worth making if he can fire his new team to promotion.
Should Leicester sign Piroe?
Given that other Championship rivals including Leeds United and Southampton are also interested in the striker, Leicester could give themselves an advantage by securing Piroe’s signature.
He would arrive as a proven Championship goalscorer, who has the potential to improve given his young age, and if Leicester achieve promotion, he would retain a lot of resale value if the Foxes choose to upgrade on him in the top flight.

Piroe has been described as “outstanding” by his former boss Russell Martin, and his goal record, which has seen him score 41 times in 88 Championship games, is very encouraging for any of the sides wanting to add a reliable attacker to their squads.
His 19 Championship strikes last season came in 15 separate games, and these helped Swansea gain points on eight different occasions. This level of difference-making could be crucial over the course of a season, and Piroe could help carry a side over the line in the race for promotion.
