Manchester City are looking for midfield reinforcements and Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is someone they are interested in.

Pep Guardiola’s side have lost one of their key men in Ilkay Gundogan this summer and are in need of new signings.

They have shown interest in Eberechi Eze and Mateus Nunes in recent weeks but Dewsbury-Hall’s name is one that has cropped up.

So far this season he has made three appearances in the Championship where he has scored two and assisted one.

Should Leicester City sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall?

According to Transfermarkt, the Englishman has a net worth of £25 million.

With that being said, the Foxes could demand upwards of £30 million for him as his contract expires in 2027.

Dewsbury-Hall has been at the club since 2006 when he was eight years old.

Two loan spells away from the club allowed him to realise his potential, being named player of the year while at Luton Town.

He is Premier League quality, there is no doubt about that, which is why it comes as a surprise that these are the first rumours of a move away.

You would imagine that if Manchester City came in with a bid, the Englishman would see that as a great opportunity to play for the best team in the world.

The rumours do come with a caveat that revol around Kalvin Phillips.

The Cityzens would look to offload the former Leeds United man before bringing in Dewsbury-Hall.

If the fee is right, then a sale could be beneficial.

But with the transfer window coming to an end, to sell now could be detrimental to the Foxes season.
