Odsonne Edouard stats: club and international record
Club career
Edouard began his professional career at Paris Saint-Germain and represented their reserve side on multiple occasions.
With the pathway to the senior side a difficult one due to PSG’s depth in strength Edouard headed on loan to Toulouse in the 2016-2017 season before joining Celtic on loan a year later, where he made his name.
The forward made an instant impact in Glasgow and famously scored the winner in a 3-2 victory against Old Firm rivals Rangers at Ibrox on 11 March 2018.
Celtic made the move permanent and Edouard took on the lead role following Moussa Dembele’s departure.
During his four-year stint at Celtic, Edouard scored 87 goals across 179 games in all competitions.
He joined Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2021, where he has been ever since.

Odsonne Edouard style of play
Edouard’s tall frame means he’s a constant nuisance in the air for defenders who come up against him. More often than not he will win headers and 50/50 duels.
Elsewhere, the 26-year-old’s close-control dribbling is immaculate but as opposed to slow build-up play, the forward thrives off being in the box with a poacher’s instinct.
He is also best utilised when being able to carry the ball forward in a counter-attacking scenario, either playing the ball out to the wingers before calling for it to be delivered into the box or having a shot himself.
His goal record proves that he has an eye for the back of the net and will guarantee some form of contribution.
