4-3-3: Leicester City predicted XI v Preston

Add as preferred source on Google

Leicester City are back at the King Power this evening and will be looking to build a bigger gap at the top of the table.

Following on from an impressive display on Sunday against Blackburn Rovers, Leicester have the chance to go seven points clear of third.

It looks more and more likely that Leicester will be one of the sides automatically promoted this season as they continue to win.

Ipswich Town won last night to move above the Foxes, temporarily, but Leicester could leapfrog Kieran McKenna’s team again with a win tonight.

Third placed Presto however will be hoping they can turn their fortunes around and move back toward the front runners, with a win leaving just two points between the top three.

But how will Leicester line-up? Here is our prediction…

Leicester predicted XI

With a tough game expected, to avoid an upset we expect Enzo Maresca will name a strong team at King Power.

Mads Hermansen therefore should continue in goal as he impresses game on game.

Ricardo Pereira should get the nod at right-back, with James Justin on the left replacing Callum Doyle.

In central defence, Wout Faes and Conor Coady should both start to continue building their partnership.

Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall should all start in midfield as Maresca’s clear preferred trio.

Yunus Akgun and Stephy Mavididi will play as the two wingers with Kasey McAteer out injured for up to six weeks.

Lastly, Kelechi Iheanacho should start up front as Jamie Vardy played the last game at the weekend.

Leicester predicted XI: Hermansen; Pereira, Faes, Coady, Justin; Winks, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall; Akgun, Iheancho, Mavididi.
