Mads Hermansen – 8
A fantastic stop to deny Palmer from the penalty spot. Maresca wanted Hermansen in the summer and it would be no surprise to see him in again after that.
Didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
James Justin – 6
Far better in a back three formation than in a back four. Defended well against Cucurella and was never afraid to get forward.
Wout Faes – 6
An uncharacteristic display from Faes in the sense that he was nowhere near as erratic as usual. Took a nasty bump from a collision. Did almost cost the Foxes a goal in second half stoppage time.
Conor Coady – 6
Van Nistelrooy was told to start Coady and was duly rewarded with a solid performance. Exactly what you want from a player of his calibre.
Luke Thomas – 7
Faultless display from the boyhood Foxes fan. Hasn’t had many opportunities this season but has always impressed when given a chance and did so by playing in an unorthodox position as a centre-back.
Victor Kristiansen – 3
Made a reckless challenge to give away a first half penalty but was bailed out by his international counterpart. Looked uncomfortable in the position and his place in the XI is under genuine threat.
Wilfred Ndidi – 6
A steady afternoon in the middle of the park. Broke up a lot of play but could’ve maybe gotten forward more
Boubakary Soumare – 5
Made a couple of misplaced passes and never really seemed to get going, looking a yard off the pace.
Bilal El Khannouss – 5
A couple of bright moment but his set pieces really let him down.
Patson Daka – 5
Worked tirelessly all day despite having very little to work off.
Jamie Vardy – 5
Started alongside Patson Daka for the first time since 2023 and looked a lot less isolated up front.
Fed off scraps but was ever-present, never gave up and held the ball up well.

Harry Winks – 5
Didn’t make much of an impact at all and barely had the ball.
Facundo Buonanotte – 5
Like Winks, Buonanotte was hardly involved.
Ricardo Pereira – 5
One of the highlights of the day was seeing Pereira return to the pitch for the first time in four months for Leicester. He will be needed for the final 10 games of the season.
Bobby De Cordova-Reid – 5
Not enough time on the pitch to get involved in any action
Stephy Mavididi – 5
No time to make any impact and find a late equaliser for the Foxes.
