Leicester City fans make their feelings on Wesley Fofana very clear with harsh words during Chelsea clash

Wesley Fofana made his return to the Chelsea side against his former club Leicester City on Saturday.

Fofana isn’t well-liked by Leicester fans after his controversial move to Stamford Bridge in 2022.

Chelsea have handed over £200m in fees to the Foxes since 2016, poaching some of their best talent.

The Frenchman is one of those and after a lengthy spell out injured, made his return to the starting XI against Leicester.

Those who travelled to watch Leicester at Stamford Bridge weren’t sympathetic to their former player at all, who was the aim of plenty of criticism.

Leicester fans aim x-rated chant towards Wesley Fofana

Unlike Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Enzo Maresca, former Leicester associates held in high regard, Fofana isn’t on the Christmas card list at the King Power Stadium.

From missing training sessions to downing tools in order to force through the move to Chelsea, it tarnished his reputation as he grew to become one of the most exciting young players in the world.

But, that grudge hasn’t gone away and Leicester fans could be heard singing: “Hey, Wes Fofana! Judas! I wanna know, why you’re such a —-.”

Large sections of the away end could be heard singing the chant in the early stages of the game in west London, however, there appeared to be no reaction from Fofana.

Leicester fans troll Chelsea supporters over FA Cup win

It wasn’t just former players on the end of Leicester fans’ chants at Stamford Bridge as those who made the trip also deciding to troll Chelsea with a song about the FA Cup win in 2021.

Youri Tielemans’ second half rocket in the 2021 FA Cup final saw Leicester win the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.

Fans could be heard singing: “Did you cry at Wembley?” after Chelsea had a goal ruled out for offside in the very last minute on that day in May.
