Leicester City return to the King Power Stadium for a Premier League clash against Fulham on Saturday, with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side in dire need of a win.

The Foxes will kick off on Saturday on a dismal run of form that means relegation now looks very likely.

FA Cup success over Queens Park Rangers last weekend has done little to mask their dismal league form in 2024/25.

Leicester City haven’t won a single league game since December 3rd, are winless in seven and have lost their last six fixtures.

This has left Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side 19th in the Premier League, two points from safety.

Confirmed Leicester City lineup to face Fulham

As for Fulham, their form of late has been mixed, only winning one match but picking up three draws in their last five.

Marco Silva’s side sit 10th in the Premier League table prior to kick-off and likely fancy their chances of earning a win given Leicester’s form.

The teamsheet was released at 2pm on Saturday and Van Nistelrooy has made some interesting calls.

Despite his struggles this season, Wout Faes has kept his place in an unchanged back-four.

The base of midfield and the majority of Leicester’s attack is the same as the one that started against Crystal Palace as well.

But it was surprising to see that Jamie Vardy kept his place and that Facundo Buonanotte, who has been valued at £48.4m this season, has lost his place to Jordan Ayew.

Leicester City recent record against Fulham is concerning

Leicester and Fulham have already clashed once this season, with the latter coming away with a 2-1 victory at their ground.

Faes scored the only goal of the game for the Foxes in that tie, while Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi were the scores for the London outfit.

Defeat has become pretty common for Leicester when taking on Fulham, failing to win a single match since February 3rd, 2021.
