Leicester team news

Five Leicester players are ruled out vs Aston Villa as confirmed by van Nistelrooy in Thursday’s press conference.

The Dutchman confirmed that goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is unavailable after missing the last three games with a groin injury. The 24-year-old has another couple of weeks out before he returns.

Wilfred Ndidi also remains out with a hamstring injury along with Kasey McAteer and long-term absentees Ricardo Pereira (hamstring) and Abdul Fatawu (knee).

There is some good news, though, as Jordan Ayew is available following his suspension while Wout Faes is edging closer to a return from injury.
