Jamie Vardy continued to show that age is just a number as the 37-year-old scored the opener in Leicester City’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
Unfortunately for Leicester City, their first Premier League win of the season remains elusive despite Steve Cooper‘s side going 2-0 up at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Given the position Leicester found themselves in thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy and Stephy Mavididi on his first Premier League start of the season.
However, a Jean-Philippe Mateta brace meant it was one point rather than three, with the fact the equaliser came from a 92nd-minute penalty conceded by Conor Coady making it all the more difficult to take.

Jamie Vardy expresses disappointment with Leicester City draw vs Crystal Palace
The draw meant that both Leicester and Palace will head into their fifth Premier League games of the season on two points.
This leaves Cooper’s side 15th in the table but they could have been a place higher had they held on against Palace.
Vardy has scored in both of Leicester’s draws this season and the veteran striker took to Instagram to post a message to Foxes fans.
Vardy posted a picture of him celebrating his opener with Mavididi with a caption that read: “A good point but we’re disappointed to not take all three home with us. Safe travels Foxes!”
Leicester City must get first Premier League win against Everton

Whilst it will always be frustrating to give up a two-goal lead, it is another point on the board for Leicester in their bid to avoid relegation.
However, Cooper will know his side simply have to get their first league win of the campaign at home to bottom-place Everton next weekend.
If they achieve this then Focus supporters can be relatively happy with five points from their first five games, but a defeat would have the potential to be very damaging; particularly considering the next league game is against Arsenal.
After that game they will be able to give Vardy a rest in the Carabao Cup tie with Walsall.
