Leicester City are back in action again on Friday evening as they take on Palermo in some pre-season action.

After securing promotion to the Premier League in 2023/24, Leicester City have begun their pre-season slightly later than last year.

While most clubs are already midway through their schedules, Leicester only began their proper preparation for 2024/25 this week.

New manager Steve Cooper got his first real glimpse at his first-team squad on July 23rd when the Foxes took on Shrewsbury Town.

Kasey McAteer and Stephy Mavididi got on the scoresheet to earn the Midlands outfit a 2-1 win.

Three of the club’s summer signings earned minutes in that tie, but there is still plenty of work to be done before Leicester’s Premier League opener versus Tottenham at the King Power on August 19th.

So with that said, here’s a look at everything you need to know about Leicester’s pre-season friendly against Palermo.
