Leicester City have been linked with an exciting move for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson.
Steve Cooper is seeing his Leicester City squad start to shape having taken over from Enzo Maresca at the start of the summer.
With star man Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall following Maresca to Chelsea, it was a brutal start to a summer that should have been all about looking forward to a Premier League return for Leicester fans.
However, since that double departure, Cooper has welcomed four additions in the shape of Michael Golding, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Caleb Okoli and the permanent arrival of Abdul Fatawu after a successful loan last season.
Another winger is high on the list of priorities this summer and that has reportedly led to the Foxes opening talks with Arsenal regarding a potential loan with obligation to buy deal for Reiss Nelson.

Gary Lineker has previously praised Reiss Nelson ahead of potential Leicester City move
Nelson has long been considered a real talent at Arsenal, but at 24 he needs to be playing regular first-team football.
Having struggled to ever get an extended run in the Gunners side, the English winger has had loan spells at Hoffenheim and Feyenoord and it is his time at the former that caught the attention of famous Leicester fan and former player Gary Lineker.
Linker took to ‘X’, formerly Twitter, ahead of the 2019/20 season to express his excitement at seeing Nelson at Arsenal following his loan in Germany as he said: “The new arrival (sort of) for Arsenal I’m really looking forward to watching is young Reiss Nelson. Thought he looked a real talent whilst on loan at Hoffenheim.”
Nelson could be the perfect signing for Steve Cooper at Leicester

Nelson is a player Cooper knows well, having managed his during his time in charge of England under-17s.
The fact the Arsenal man can play as either a winger or a number ten makes him an attractive option, with Cooper showing in pre-season that both positions could be key to his Leicester side.

A fantastic dribbler with an eye for goal, Nelson’s signing could prove to be a really astute piece of business and he is exactly the calibre of player the Foxes should be targeting to help in their bid to stay in the Premier League.
