Leicester City suffered a 5-2 defeat to Manchester United in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.
Steve Cooper’s side made countless defensive errors and were hardly a threat going forward, with nine changes completely disrupting their rhythm.
Fans have even called for Cooper to be sacked ahead of the clash against relegation rivals Ipswich Town this weekend – which he will have to watch on from the stands due to a touchline suspension.
His system was ravaged on a number of occasions and Man United were able to cause problems down James Justin’s side.
Leicester fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice their concern about Justin.

Leicester fans say James Justin is a liability
Leicester fans were particularly critical of James Justin’s display against United and made their frustration known on X.
One supporter posted: “Cooper persisting with Justin is on par with Maresca persisting with Daka, and Rodgers persisting with Ward. That is all.”
Another added: “We’ll still see Justin against Ipswich. Seriously what is the point. How does Cooper not see it. So many goals conceded and Justin is to blame. Get rid.”
A third said: “Forget about sacking cooper, this club will continue to struggle as long as Whelen and Rudkin have any sort of role at the club. No one could work with players like Ayew, Cordova-Reid, Thomas, ward and Justin (who was to blame for 3 of the 4 goals).”
Another wrote: “Not like we all couldn’t see this coming…. #lcfc Justin continues to do Justin things. Utterly appalling aside from Billy’s goal.”
Ricardo Pereira should start vs Ipswich Town
Ricardo Pereira should replace Justin in the line-up on Saturday as Leicester travel to Portman Road to take on Ipswich.
The veteran fullback was one of City’s best players last season and his exclusion from the side has baffled supporters.
Pereira is far superior at joining the attack, too, so he’d provide The Foxes with a great threat down the right flank.
