Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has given a damning verdict on his side’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.
The odds were against the Foxes as they travelled to Old Trafford for the second time in two weeks.
Leicester lost 5-2 to Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men last Wednesday and this game shared a similar outcome.
In the Dutchman’s final match as the Red Devils’ interim boss, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garncaho and a Victor Kristiansen own goal gave the home team a comfortable win.
Cooper was not impressed with the performance and had some harsh words for his players.

Steve Cooper’s damning verdict on Man Utd defeat
The biggest criticism a manager can have of his players is probably a lack of ‘desire’, and that’s what Cooper has accused the Foxes of.
“The result will paint the picture but in the end we didn’t show enough desire in either penalty area. We let two unopposed shots from outside the area for the goals,” he told BBC Sport.
“Two of the goals have come from our corners as well which is frustrating. It wasn’t a dangerous position but we made it dangerous. At the other end we got into good areas but didn’t show that same desire.
“Our general play was fine but in the end we didn’t have the purpose. We had good spells, we were in the game, it didn’t feel like they were going to score the next goal.
Leicester have now gone three league games without a win and sit just four points above the relegation places.

Steve Cooper refuses to blame Jamie Vardy absence
Jamie Vardy had started all 10 of Leicester’s Premier League games prior to Sunday but he missed out against United due to an injury.
Vardy is now 37 years of age and no longer the world-class player he once was, although he is still an integral part of the side.
Indeed, the former England international is Leicester’s top scorer in the league so far this season with four goals.
But Cooper was quick to dismiss his absence as an excuse for the 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
“We can’t just say we missed Jamie Vardy, we can’t be reliant on that,” the Welshman added.
