Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side visit Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Leicester’s run of seven straight defeats leaves them in desperate need of a win.
Currently sit 19th, two points adrift from safety – time is running out for the Foxes and they will be hoping they can kickstart a survival push against a struggling Spurs.
Heading into the game though, Leicester will be boosted by the news that new signing Woyo Coulibaly is expected to feature after not singing in time for the Fulham game.
Van Nistelrooy however will be without some of his key men with Mads Hermansen and Wilfred Ndidi still unavailable for selection.
Tottenham have had to deal with a string of injuries themselves – something which has contributed to their fall down the Premier League table.
Injuries aside, Ange Postecoglou’s side will still be a stern test for the Foxes and Leicester City News spoke to Spurs expert Mitchell Tapner to get the lowdown ahead of the game.

Where the game could be won and lost
Speaking exclusively to Leicester City News, Tapner explained that the midfield battle could be key at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“At home, with pressure mounting, Spurs will no doubt control the majority of the ball against Leicester – it is in transition however Postecoglou’s side may struggle.
“Tottenham have seen the likes of Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Pape Matar Sarr all pick up injuries in recent weeks – leaving their midfield extremely light.
“This means we will likely see a midfield trio of Lucas Bergvall, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski. A very exciting attacking midfield, but one that is vulnerable to the counter.
“I wouldn’t be surprised to see the likes of Bilal El Khannous and Stephy Mavididi enjoy success in transition.”
Where Tottenham are weakest
Tottenham have had no trouble scoring goals this season, currently ranking as the second-highest-scoring team in the league with 45.
Their main problem however has been keeping the ball out of their own net, conceding 35 goals so far this season more than the likes of Everton and Crystal Palace.
With that being said, Tapner highlighted Tottenham’s defence as a potential area for Leicester to exploit.
“Tottenham’s defending has been laughable at times this season.
“The absences of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have massively hurt Spurs, with the likes of Radu Dragusin failing to step up to the plate.
“Youngster Archie Gray has done more than a fine job stepping in, but he ultimately isn’t a centre-halve at the end of the day.
“With Pedro Porro and Dragusin struggling in recent weeks, I can see Leicester’s frontmen causing the Spurs backline problems – especially Jamie Vardy who will no doubt be a constant nuisance.”
What to expect from Vitor Pereira
Postecoglou has been stubborn in his approach so far this season, staying true to his attacking principles – Tapner however highlights the fact the Aussie has slightly changed things in recent weeks.
“Contrary to what some people may believe, Postecoglou has changed the Spurs set-up slightly in recent weeks – albeit small changes.
“The Spurs full-backs are now seemingly playing slightly deeper than they once were, probably in an attempt to sure up the backline.
“Against Everton, Postecoglou also experimented with a back three – with Archie Gray playing as a right-sided centre-back and then moving into midfield when in possession.
“That experiment at Goodison Park obviously didn’t pay off but I wouldn’t be surprised to see more tweaks from the Spurs boss against Leicester.”
