Harry Souttar has broken his silence after his move to Rangers fell through on deadline day and as a result will play a part in the Leicester City squad.
The Scottish side were keen on signing the Australian on loan for the season but the financial aspect proved difficult to negotiate.
The Australian was only signed in January for £15 million but was looking like he was leaving.
Due to the transfer rumours, he hasn’t featured yet this season under Enzo Maresca.
After featuring for his nation this week, in a 2-2 draw with Mexico, he discussed how life is at his current club.

“It’s been tough. I think there were a lot of things mentioned in the press about going on loan.”
There is a clear issue there that he hasn’t be able to find a move away from the club which appeared ideal for all parties.
Despite everything that has gone on, Souttar has to turn his attention back to the Foxes.
This is something he has appeared to be doing: ““I am a Leicester player. I’m going to do everything in my power to try to get back into the squad.”
There was also plenty of respect for Italian boss, Maresca, in spite of everything that has gone on over the summer.
Talking about his chances, he said: “Obviously it’s the manager’s decision so all I can do is work hard and try to prove to him that I can get back in the squad.”
Souttar seems to suit how the manager has set up so far, with Wout Faes and Jannik Vestergaard getting minutes.
At £15 million, there was a large outlay on the Aussie defender, it is in Maresca and Leicester City’s best interest to make this one work.
