Ricardo Pereira has spoken out about new signing, Abdul Fatawu, following his debut in the 1-0 defeat against Hull City.
Fatawu signed for the Foxes on loan from Sporting Lisbon and came off the bench for his first appearance at the King Power.
The Ghanian made a good impression as he struck the post during his cameo.
At 19-years old, he has played Champions and Europa League, with promotion from the Championship his next challenge.
Foxes defender, Pereira, knew about the winger before his move to the East Midlands from his time in Portugal.
What has Ricardo Pereira said about Abdul Fatawu?
The right back enjoyed the new winger’s performance, but felt he would get better with time.
On this point, he said: “I think he will help us but it’s just the beginning, he will get used to the team and our way of playing.
“It takes time. We have two months with the coach, everything is new and it’s still a learning process.”

It is clear that all the players for City are taking time to understand what Enzo Maresca wants and demands from his team.
Fatawu played well when he came on, but it will take time for him to come upto speed.
The first loss of the season, against Hull, was disappointing but you can’t win every game.
On the Foxes’ performance, Pereira said: “Even with every win we had, it wasn’t perfect, or we had things to improve. We knew that this day might come.
“Of course, we tried to delay that as much as possible. We had some chances to score, but it’s football and it can happen sometimes.”
It appears that the mindset in the Leicester camp is positive, with constant improvement a demand from players and managers alike.
The Hull result is in the past and the Portuguese has moved on already: “We have to keep our heads high because to win four games and lose one, if we can do that until the end of the season, we will be happy.”
After the international break, a trip to Southampton will see two teams look to bounce back from disappointing defeats.
