Leicester City were embarrassed yet again as they were comfortably beaten by Newcastle United on Monday night.
The hosts found themselves 2-0 down within 10 minutes after two shambolic bits of defending.
It was all too easy for Newcastle fans, who taunted Foxes supporters inside the King Power Stadium about the number of empty seats in the stands.
To make things worse, the visitors then made it 3-0 in the 36th minute as former Fox Harvey Barnes
With that, here’s how we scored the players tonight.
Mads Hermansen – 3
Usually a top performer for Leicester, yet tonight was a game to forget for Mads Hermansen, who was nearly beaten from the halfway line by Fabian Schar before Jacob Murphy slotted past the Dane to make it 2-0.
James Justin – 2
Newcastle found plenty of joy down Leicester’s right-hand side in large part due to James Justin’s lack of control down the flank, with the former Luton Town defender constantly inviting the visitors to attack.
Wout Faes – 2
Wout Faes shared pre-match how Leicester’s squad still have belief about staying up this season, yet the defender’s performance against Newcastle could not match his comments any less had he tried, with the Belgian once again looking out of his depth against a top Premier League side.
Conor Coady – 2
Another poor performance from the former Wolves man as Conor Coady again looked uncomfortable in this Leicester back-three, with Newcastle sensing a chance to cause problems with every attack.

Luke Thomas – 3
The only Leicester central defender to look somewhat competent in their role this evening, Luke Thomas did all he good in an unfamiliar position to keep Newcastle back as much as possible, though to little effort given the strength of today’s visitors.
Victor Kristiansen – 2
Victor Kristiansen was criticised over the international break for his poor performances for Denmark, and the fullback remains stuck in this run of form as the defender, much like James Justin, gifted Newcastle plenty of chances to cause Leicester problems.
Wilfred Ndidi – 3
Much of the blame for today’s loss can be pinned on the central defence, yet Wilfred Ndidi’s performance in central midfield could have been better, with the Nigerian international doing little to help Leicester create chances of their own.
Boubakary Soumare – 3
Much like Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare will be disappointed with his performance this evening against Newcastle, with the 26-year-old midfielder offering little in the centre of the park for Leicester.

Bilal El Khannouss – 4
The only player in the starting XI that deserves some credit. Got on the ball and tried his very best to make things happen, but it’s a thankless task.
Patson Daka – 1
A record-breaking game for Leicester for all the wrong reasons, as Patson Daka was once again a passenger for Leicester. The season could end soon enough for the Foxes striker.
Jamie Vardy – 1
Leicester’s greatest striker could not save the King Power Stadium side from embarrassment, even after a promising first attempt right at the start of the match.
Substitutes
Facundo Buonanotte – 1
Stephy Mavididi – 1

Jeremy Monga – 2
One shining light of the match was Jeremy Monga making his debut for Leicester, with the teenager becoming the second youngest player in Premier League history.
