Leicester City are looking over their shoulder perilously after a dreadful weekend of results.
The Foxes were beaten by Wolves on Sunday to leave them two points clear of the bottom three.
Ruud van Nistelrooy left Leicester fans baffled by starting Facundo Buonanotte on the bench while Danny Ward and James Justin were two Foxes players booed by the fans for their performance.
With the Christmas period now here, Leicester will be hoping they can bring some festive cheer to the King Power Stadium and get back on track.
But, with other clubs sensing an opportunity to leapfrog them by getting points in their own festive fixtures, there is a lot at stake.
So, with that, we’re taking a look at Leicester’s fixtures and how they compare to their rivals around them.
Leicester City’s Christmas fixtures
The Christmas period is the busiest time of the year for Leicester and with that comes plenty of games.
For Van Nistelrooy’s men, they will face three very tricky fixtures, starting with a Boxing Day trip to Anfield to face Liverpoool.
Just three days later the Foxes are back at the King Power Stadium to host out of sorts Manchester City on 29 December.
Even though Man City are a shadow of their usual selves, they are still one of the best sides in the Premier League.
To round it off, Leicester then face a short trip to the west midlands to open 2025 with a tough away trip to Aston Villa.
All three of those sides have Champions League/Premier League title aspirations and it is a run in the Foxes would’ve preferred to avoid.

How do Leicester’s fixtures compare to their rivals?
If Leicester thought they had it hard already, it will come as disappointing news to hear that the Foxes have the trickiest festive run in out of the sides below them in the bottom three.
Ipswich Town have also been dealt tough ties against Arsenal and Chelsea whereas Wolves will be sensing a great chance to continue Vitor Pereira’s excellent start to life as manager.

Basement club Southampton have recently appointed Ivan Juric and he will sense a winning opportunity whilst Crystal Palace also have tough fixtures against the likes of Bournemouth.
