Enzo Maresca has provided a three-word update on the availability of Callum Doyle for Leicester City.
Leicester City have faced multiple injuries this season already, however now find themselves with an almost entirely fit squad.
Entirely without including the one man injured, Callum Doyle who has been out since September and had a return time of four months.
That means we likely can’t expect to see him close to a return until the new year at least.
However, ahead of Wednesday’s Sheffield Wednesday fixture, Enzo Maresca has provided an update on the current health status of the squad, which in the grand scheme of things is positive.

Maresca on squad injuries
Maresca took to the media on Tuesday before his side faced Wednesday on Wednesday.
Here, the boss was quizzed on the squad’s current fitness levels and the dreaded question, of whether there were any new concerns to report of.
To this, Maresca simply responded, “No, just Callum.”
This indicates that he has an almost full bill of health to choose from for this game which is entirely winnable and we actually assume he will rotate heavily anyway.
Leicester City are missing Callum Doyle
The absence of Doyle is one which Maresca no doubt will be feeling given he was a clear favourite upon arrival. Hopefully, he returns from his injury and immediately recaptures the same form which he showed early this season.
We imagine that if he does, Maresca will have no problems making his loan permanent. But asides from Doyle, Maresca will be boosted by multiple returns which have happened recently.
In this same press conference, Maresca also revealed multiple players are back in selection contention.
“Wilf [Ndidi], Dennis [Praet], Yunus [Akgun], now they are all back. It’s very important now because it’s an important spell of games and it’s important to have the chance to choose some of them.”
He also explained that Tom Cannon is fully fit and is simply waiting for his chance, which he must be patient for and he will eventually receive. This mid-week game could even be the perfect opportunity for Cannon to start a game with the view to making a huge impact.
