Enzo Maresca has been warned of a concerning factor ahead of this weekend’s game against Watford as the Championship returns.
Leicester City are at a crucial crossing point in their campaign after two consecutive losses.
The losses came after a record-breaking run of victories before Leeds United ended it and Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough added to the issue a week later.
Despite recent troubles, Leicester are still expected to be absolute shoo-ins for promotion back to the Premier League.
However, there are factors which have been causing serious concern lately. Now EFL podcaster Sam Parkin has explained what is most worrying to him.

Leicester show concerning signs
Speaking on the What the EFL?! podcast this week, Parkin wasn’t alone in raising concerns over the Foxes’ current goal-scoring issues.
“They haven’t scored obviously in the last two and it’s just three goals in four and yeah it’s a bit concerning about the lack of goals coming from the strikers maybe.”
The issues up top will no doubt be concerning those around Leicester not just those outside with such an experienced and talented striking duo both struggling, Maresca needs to figure out a fix.
Possibly just an issue with form
While it does pose a problem which is concerning, Leicester will probably be confident of their duo overcoming this current drought.
11 goals between them both in all competitions this season is good and the goals from around the team show that Maresca’s style doesn’t need a 30-goal a-season striker with everyone pitching in.
But in drawing a blank in back-to-back games will always worry those in charge especially when you’ve two notoriously clinical and deadly forwards who seem to have lost their touch right now.
