Steve Cooper could be handed a major boost this weekend as Leicester City face Manchester United.
The Foxes return to Old Trafford just over a week since their 5-2 defeat that saw them exit the Carabao Cup.
Leicester have been without several first-team players but after the return of Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen to the side for the draw against Ipswich Town, Cooper could now welcome back two more players to the squad.
Man United are in Europa League action on Thursday and could rotate ahead of Ruud van Nistelrooy’s final game in charge as interim manager before Ruben Amorim takes over as Erik ten Hag’s replacement.

Patson Daka – doubt

Patson Daka has returned to training in recent weeks after spending three months out on the sidelines due to an injury picked up in Leicester City’s final pre-season game.
Daka is unlikely to be ready in time for Sunday’s game and the Zambia international will need time to get up to speed but with an international break to come after United, the home fixture against Chelsea is more likely.
Hamza Choudhury – doubt
Like Daka, Hamza Choudhury has also returned to training.
There were fears that Choudhury could be out for months after suffering a dislocated shoulder but thankfully, scans revealed he would need weeks to recover.
Unlike Daka, the Foxes academy graduate may find it harder to get back into the side given the recent resurgence of Boubakary Soumare, as well as the strength in depth from the likes of Harry Winks, Wilfred Ndidi, and Oliver Skipp.
Once again, expect the midfielder to be back in contention after the break.
Michael Golding – out
Cooper revealed that Michael Golding had recently come back into training after a brief time out injured.
Golding has only been in a matchday squad once this season so even if he is declared available, is almost certain to be out of contention.
Jakub Stolarczyk – out

Last season’s backup to Mads Hermansen is continuing his rehabilitation after breaking his foot during pre-season.
The Pole would’ve featured in the Carabao Cup had it not been for the injuries and the Poland youth international still needs a few weeks before he can become an option amongst the squad.
