A number of Leicester City players were far from their best when they took on Brentford.
Leicester City faced a trip down south for a meeting with Thomas Frank and his Brentford players over the weekend.
The Foxes will have been looking to secure a much-needed there points after their defeat to Chelsea last time out saw them slip down to 16th and dangerously close to the bottom three.
However, despite Facoundo Buonnate giving the away side the lead midway through the first half, Leicester lost 4-1 to Brentford.
Yoane Wissa made it 1-1 in the 25th minute before bagging himself a hat-trick in front of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Leicester remain 16th in the division as some results went their way on Saturday but they are now just one point above 19th-place Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wout Faes was woeful for Leicester City vs Brentford
After conceding four goals against the Bees, the Foxes’ backline has rightly come in for criticism.
During the clash, Leicester fans criticised James Justin vs Brentford and were right to do so.
All of Brentford’s goals came down the right of their backline with Justin doing little to try and prevent any.
However, Wout Faes, who started as the right-sided centre-back in the back-five, was also poor and the stats prove it.
As per Sofascore, the Belgian earned a 6.0 rating – the second-lowest on the team behind goalkeeper Mads Hermansen (5.9).
Faes also failed to make a single tackle across the 90 minutes – a pretty baffling stat considering he is a defender.
He was dribbled past twice, failed to win any of his five attempted duels, lost possession seven times and committed two fouls as well.

This is not the first time the Foxes have been put to the sword this season, with Van Nisteloroy himself managing Manchester United when they scored eight goals in two games against them.
After Brentford, Leicester fans sent a transfer demand to Van Nistelrooy, urging him to fix their shaky backline.
But with the January window not open for another month, the 48-year-old is going to have to work with what he’s got for the time being.
If Leicester are to stay up though, it is clear they need to start conceding a lot less goals.
