Leicester City were beaten by Brentford in a Premier League fixture as Ruud van Nistelrooy watched on.
Ruud van Nistelrooy was appointed Leicester City manager on Friday evening and travelled to Brentford to watch his new team live for the first time as their boss.
Things got off to a great start for the Foxes, taking the lead after just 21 minutes when Jamie Vardy assisted Facundo Buonanotte.
However, Van Nistelrooy’s reaction to the Buonanotte goal was telling, with the Dutchman knowing a big test still awaited his side.
And unfortunately for fans, Thomas Frank’s men proved too much for them and blew them away in the remainder of the first half.

Leicester City fans all in agreement about James Justin after Brentford
Yoane Wissa pulled the home team back on level terms after 25 minutes.
Kevin Schade then made it 2-1 in the 29th minute before scoring his second and Brentford’s third right before the break.
All three goals, in particular the first two, came down the right of Leicester’s backline, with James Justin coming in for heavy criticism from fans for his part in them on social media.
One fan wrote: “These injuries have made James Justin championship at best, such a shame as he was heading to the very top.”
“James Justin needs to be sold”, a second added, with another writing: “Sick to death of watching James Justin and Wout Faes every week. Pair of clowns.”
A fourth fan stated: “James Justin is absolutely useless, and has zero awareness.”
A fifth Leicester supporter explained: “James Justin and Wout Faes playing on the same side of the defense is just ridiculous. WHY PLAY TWO OF THE WORST DEFENDERS IN THE PREM TOGETHER????”
“All round it’s a shocking performance yet again, but especially James Justin, he is absolutely useless, and is at fault for the majority of goals conceded, it’s just ridiculous,” a sixth fan added.
While a seventh Foxes fan wrote: “Absolutely shocking defending! James Justin can’t track his man week in, week out. We need a new back-four in January! Hamza would do a better job.”

Ruud van Nistelrooy must drop James Justin for Leicester City
Saturday is the first Van Nistelrooy has seen the right-back really struggle this season.
When we replaced Erik ten Hag, he watched from the sidelines as Justin was exposed for Leicester vs Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.
It is not just those two games in which the Englishman was been poor this season, however, with teams often targeting Leicester’s right-hand side as they are well aware of what a weak link he is.
With Ricardo Pereira out injured for several months, Ruud has limited options at right-back right now, but as one fan mentioned above, Hamza Choudhury can play there and should probably start instead of Justin on Tuesday.
