Leicester City begin life without Steve Cooper this weekend as they make the trip to Brentford.

The Foxes sacked Cooper on Sunday, who leaves the East Midlanders 16th in the Premier League table, one point clear of the relegation zone.

They face a tough test in the capital against a Brentford side who have the best home record in the top flight.

As no manager has been appointed, Ben Dawson, Andrew Hughes, and Danny Alcock are the three coaches in the Foxes dugout against Brentford.

Unfortunately, the trio won’t have a full squad of players to select from so, with that, here is the latest injury news from the Leicester camp.

Facundo Buonanotte wasn’t injured in the last game but will be available for selection again after missing the Foxes’ loss against Chelsea due to suspension.

Buonanotte has been one of Leicester’s best players this season and the Argentine will be a welcome addition back to the ranks for everyone affiliated to the East Midlanders.

Harry Winks – Doubt

Harry Winks was withdrawn in the early stages of last weekend’s defeat with what appeared to be a pelvic/groin-related issue.

No update has been given on the midfielder’s situation after he limped off and the 28-year-old hasn’t been spotted in any training clips posted on Leicester’s social media channels.

An update is expected in the Thursday press conference.

Abdul Fatawu – out

Abdul Fatawu is the only definite absentee for Leicester’s away game this weekend.

Fatawu is out for the rest of the season after scans revealed he had suffered an ACL injury while away on international duty.

The 20-year-old will be continuing his rehabilitation work and his injury may force Leicester to loan a player in to cover Fatawu.

Ricardo Pereira – out

Like Fatawu, Ricardo Pereira is also set for a spell on the sidelines.

Pereira suffered a hamstring injury before the Manchester United defeat and is expected to be out for another four months.
