Gary Lineker has never been shy to declare his love for Leicester City.
Having supported the club all his life and coming through the academy, Lineker established himself as a Leicester legend before going on to have a career that saw him play for Everton, Barcelona and England.
Now, the Match of the Day host is also busy presenting his new venture The Rest is Football podcast.
Lineker, along with Alan Shearer and Micah Richards regularly discuss the footballing action around the world, as well as host a Q and A session.
Recently, Lineker said he wanted Leicester to sign a centre-back in the transfer window whilst Shearer and Richards tipped the Foxes to be relegated.
In their most recent episode, the trio were asked what their favourite goal of all time scored by the club they support was and for Lineker, it was an easy decision.

Gary Lineker names Youri Tielemans FA Cup winner as favourite Leicester City goal
There are many goals that Lineker could’ve picked over the years, including some of his own, but only one of them stood out.
On 15 May 2021, Leicester won the FA Cup for the first time in their history, beating Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley Stadium.
A game of that magnitude was only ever going to be decided one way and Youri Tielemans was the difference between the two teams.

When Chelsea’s clearance ricocheted off Ayoze Perez into the path of Luke Thomas, the young full-back laid the ball off to Tielemans.
The Belgian took the ball in his stride and unleashed a fierce shot that flew into the top corner – something that made it a no brainer for Lineker.
“You’re not going to better that, I’m sorry,” the 64-year-old said, passionately.
“You’ve got to take in the occasion, the first time Leicester had won the FA Cup. Beautiful.”
What Youri Tielemans said about FA Cup winner for Leicester City
Tielemans’ goal was one of the best in Leicester’s history and FA Cup final history too as it ended the club’s long wait to win the trophy for the first time ever.
Before the 2021 victory, the Foxes had lost more FA Cup finals (4) than any other side, meaning that the win at Wembley tasted all the more sweeter.
Leicester’s record signing scored plenty of wonder strikes during his time in the East Midlands, but none ranked better than that according to the Belgian.
“What a moment,” he said.
“I can’t think of a better goal than this one. I’ve scored a few for Leicester but not like this one and it was nice to do so in the cup final.
“I did it for all of the Leicester fans and I’m looking up and see Khun Top there and I did it for him and his father too.”
