Leicester City fans have picked up on star man Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s thinking as he stopped Harry Winks from receiving a booking.
Nothing new this weekend, Leicester City secured a win and continued their charge back to the Premier League.
Stephy Mavididi gave Enzo Maresca’s side the lead but they were pegged back quite quickly by Queens Park Rangers.
A wondergoal from Harry Winks helped to capture another three points. The midfielder came close to a suspension in his celebration.
What was Harry Winks’ situation?
The man signed from Tottenham has amassed four yellow cards so far this season and another would see him banned.
With cards against Huddersfield Town, Hull City, Southampton and Norwich City, he has collated four cautions.
The rule on yellow cards is that if a player has five bookings then they must serve a one-match ban.
On that, if Winks had been booked against QPR, he would have been ineligible to play in the huge Leeds United match.
With that being a stern test, full strength will be wanted by Maresca.
What did Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall do?
Dewsbury-Hall is celebrating with his teammates following a wondergoal, and eventual winner, but he is still switched on.
He knew that Winks would be out the team should he pick up a booking and that would be a blow.
The midfielder’s goal was superb and as a result, he was eager to celebrate with the fans. With that being said, if this is too excessive it can lead to a booking.

Amidst the celebrations, you can see Dewsbury-Hall almost pulling his midfield partner back to avoid that booking. This was picked up on by the Foxes’ Instagram page.
It was clear that this was well-received by the two, with Dewsbury-Hall posting: “Sorry bro, had to.”
A comment which was met by admiration from Winks who said: “Love that you.”
If there was ever a moment which summed up the togetherness of this Leicester side, it is this.
Players having each other’s backs and doing things for the benefit of the team.
