Robert Huth is a Leicester City icon and one that was fond of a prank or two.

Huth joined Leicester on loan for the second half of the great escape season before making his move permanent in the summer of 2015.

His partnership with fellow Foxes legend Wes Morgan was instrumental in the Premier League title win, as well as a run to the quarter finals of the Champions League.

Sadly though, Huth was suspended for the final home game of the 15/16 season against Everton, but with the title all wrapped up, it gave him the opportunity to troll John Terry.

Robert Huth trolled John Terry in social media post.

The German was able to watch Andrea Bocelli perform at the King Power Stadium from the stands before joining in the trophy lift.

In light of his suspension, Huth decided to take aim at his former Chelsea teammate Terry, claiming he would dress up in his full kit to lift the title.

Writing on X on 7 May 2016, he said: “Going full John Terry today!!”

His comments were in reference to an ongoing joke in the world of football after Terry, despite being suspended, joined his teammates to celebrate lifting the 2012 Champions League trophy in a full Chelsea kit.

And stick to his word he did, as Huth ended up getting into his full kit to celebrate with the teammate.

Robert Huth is one of Leicester’s greatest players

Nobody expected the kind of impact Huth would go on to have when he joined in January 2015.

His header in the 3-2 win against West Bromwich Albion during the great escape season but his two big moments were the only goal in the 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur and the brace against Manchester City.

Leicester would be the final club that Huth would play for before hanging up his boots in 2018 and moving into a loan manager role.

The defender made 96 appearances, scoring six goals and two assists for the Foxes.

He’ll be forever remembered as the Leicester legend and one of the best to wear the shirt.
