The first international break of the season is here and it could prove to be a memorable one for Kasey McAteer.
With the Premier League on pause for the next week, attention turns to the first international break of the season.
Several Leicester City players have been called up to represent their respective international squads, including Kasey McAteer.
The Leicester academy graduate was selected by the Republic of Ireland for their upcoming Nations League fixtures against England and Greece after he chose to represent them ahead of the Three Lions due to his grandparent being Irish.
Foxes fans will be keen to see how he fares in his first games on the international stage so we have that all covered for you so you don’t miss out.

What has Steve Cooper said about Kasey McAteer’s Ireland call-up?
Foxes boss Steve Cooper was delighted to see McAteer’s efforts rewarded and has encouraged him to keep improving.
He said: “It’s good recognition for him and for the club and the journey through the academy he’s been on. It should hopefully encourage him even more to work hard.
“He’s a good lad with a really good attitude. He’s had a good pre-season. He’s still finding his way, which is normal for where he’s at in his career. He signed a new contract recently so he can put that out of his mind.
“We want to push him to contribute as much as he can. We really want to push him to play well for us, and if he does, other things like international honours will come his way as well.”
