Ruud van Nistelrooy has named his Leicester City side to face Newcastle United.
Van Nistelrooy has made three changes to the side that drew 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion as Hamza Choudhury and Oliver Skipp replace Boubakary Soumare and Wilfred Ndidi.
Stephy Mavididi starts ahead of Jordan Ayew, however, some Leicester fans were angry to see Kasey McAteer in the XI as opposed to Facundo Buonanotte, who was ineligible to play last weekend.
Four academy players named in Leicester City side against Newcastle
One of the best parts of supporting a football club is seeing players come through the academy to represent the first-team.
At Leicester, a number of players have risen through the youth ranks to represent the Foxes and that’s no different today.
In the squad to face Newcastle are four players who have come through the Leicester academy in the squad.
Henry Cartwright was singled out by Ruud van Nistelrooy midweek and his eye-catching displays for the Under-21s has led to him earning a place on the bench.

Hamza Choudhury and Kasey McAteer meanwhile start the game at St James’ Park and Luke Thomas is on the bench.
To make it even more exciting for Foxes fans, three of those players were born in Leicester, with McAteer born in Northampton.
