Jamie Vardy is at a crossroads with seven games of the season remaining for Leicester City.
Aged 38, Vardy has done it all and is a Leicester legend, but with his contract coming to an end in the summer of 2025, the time to decide the future is now.
The forward is the top scorer for the club but hasn’t scored since 26 January. Decisions have to be made about his future and eventually, one day, he will leave the King Power Stadium.
Some have speculated about where he could end up and Troy Deeney has one or two theories about where Vardy could end up, but, the Premier League title winner has already given a hint about what he thinks.
Troy Deeney tips Premier League clubs to make Jamie Vardy move
Despite his age, the signing of Vardy would be considered a coup – purely down to the name and legacy he has.
Vardy’s future came to the table during the TalkSPORT breakfast show and Deeney suggested that top-flight clubs would still be interested in bringing the 38-year-old to the club.

He said: “It’s a punt when you’re just looking at his age and depending on what his wage structure is but Jamie is in a wonderful position because there’s not many number nines in world football, never mind in the Premier League.
“I could see him doing well at Everton or West Ham.
“Jamie is one of those players and people where you hate him when you’re playing against him but if he’s on your team then you’d love him because he does all the horrible things.”
Jamie Vardy has already made his feelings clear on leaving Leicester
Whilst several Leicester players will leave this summer, the only one who can have a definitive answer on what their next steps are is Vardy.
After all he has done for the Foxes, he can have a free pass on where he will go.
But, if his comments on a League of their Own in 2021 via the Daily Mail are anything to go by, Vardy will be with the club until the very end.
At the time, he told Jimmy Carr: “I’d stay there until the end,” when Carr asked if he would ever leave Leicester.
Even if he isn’t at his best, if anyone deserved a lifetime contract, it’s him.
