Leicester City got back to winning ways on Saturday, beating Watford 2-0 after back-to-back defeats prior to the international break.

Enzo Maresca‘s Foxes regained control at the pinnacle of the Championship table on Saturday, once again moving clear of Ipswich Town.

Leicester City defeated a 10-man Watford side who simply couldn’t deal with Jamie Vardy up-front.

But before beating Watford as we know, Leicester had lost two on the bounce which had sparked serious concern over the side who looked set to break every record around.

Now, Leicester City man James Justin has explained that the King Power outfit had began taking wins for granted before the losses which took them back to reality.

James Justin on Leicester win-streak

Speaking on the When You’re Smiling podcast, Justin spoke with Owynn Palmer-Atkin where he explained the mood in the camp and praised the international breaks role in getting Leicester back to winning ways.

“When you’re winning a lot of weeks, you know we had loads in a row,” Justin explained.

“It kind of makes you take it for granted winning every week and obviously with the international break after the two losses it gave us time to reflect on what we’re doing or what we’re not doing so well.”

What next for Leicester?

Leicester City head into the Christmas period with the chance to re-establish themselves as the most dominant side in the league.

On Wednesday they’ll be taking on Sheffield Wednesday who are rock bottom and probably the worst side in the league.

Then next weekend, Maresca’s side face a slightly tougher task in Carlos Corberan’s fifth placed West Brom who just beat Ipswich Town.

One thing that’s for certain is that Leicester, after their losses, won’t be taking wins for granted anymore.
