There’s one silver lining to come from Leicester City’s awful campaign, and that is the number of academy players coming through at Seagrave.
Leicester have created an incredible production line, headed by the emergence of 15-year-old Jeremy Monga, who is wanted by Manchester City.
Monga was named on the bench in the FA Cup defeat against Manchester United in February alongside fellow teenager Jake Evans, the possible future Jamie Vardy replacement.
Evans and Monga have picked up the most attention this term but others are making a name for themselves, including England under-17 star Louis Page and midfielder Henry Cartwright.
The above prospects will hope to either break into the first-team at Leicester, or become heroes elsewhere, with one clear message being sent to Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Leicester City fans want Ruud van Nistelrooy to use the youth
At several points during this campaign, players from the Leicester under-21s have been pictured in training, enabling them to get used to a first-team environment.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

With the Foxes in freefall, losing 13 of their last 14 in the league, supporters have urged Van Nistelrooy to use his talented academy players for the remainder of the campaign.
Leicester posted a video on X of some under-21 stars training with the senior side, to which one supporter responded: “Play them then. Can’t be any worse.”
“Play them all!!!” another exclaimed before adding: “Hope they get a few good reducers on Jannik “I don’t take it seriously” Vestergaard.”
“Start them,” a third simply wrote.
“I guess they are making up the numbers so I am not getting too excited,” a fifth person speculated, with several Leicester stars on international duty currently.
Van Nistelrooy needs to listen to the fans
Leicester are in dire straits at the bottom of the table and evidently, he’s lost most of the senior dressing room.
Jannik Vestergaard refused to shake Van Nistelrooy’s hand after being substituted in the loss against West Ham, and other players have been seen walking on the pitch.
At a time when the older players have lost hope, the youth could breathe some energy, excitement and willingness to fight for the badge.
They’d be eager to prove a point in the Premier League, unlike some of the high-earning senior stars, and it would be refreshing seeing some youngsters giving it a good go.
